I am not sure many would agree with me on this one.
But, these are 2 separate events at 2 different times in End Days.
Joel 2 is about the 6th Seal and the attack of Israel by Gog of Ezekiel 38-39 and the destruction of Erdogan/Gog & his 10 Muslim nations by God's hand.
Joel 3 is about the 6th Bowl judgement, which is the destruction of Antichrist and the war of Armageddon after the return of our Lord on the 7th Trumpet.
Joel 2 is a vision of the 6th Seal (Rev. 6:12-17). The destruction of the 10 Muslim nations that are led by Erdogan/Gog of Ezekiel 38-39 or White Horseman of Revelation in Rev. 6:1-4). It talks about how the remnant (Jews) flee as the northern army attacks Israel & Jerusalem (Erdogan/Gog of Turkey and his 10 Muslim nations) (Joel 2:20) (Ezekiel 38:15).
God tells us He will destroy these armies, by His hand, and bury them all in the Valley of Hamon-Gog and that the stench of this 6th Seal destruction of these 10 Muslim nations will take 7 months to bury. (Joel 2:20) (Ezekiel 39:2-6). That they will burn the weapons for 7 years; eluding to the time of Tribulation & Great Tribulation.
Also, look at verse Joel 2:16. God is starting to release Satan (Bridegroom) and the Bride (Pergamos, Turkey - Mystery Babylon). The Seat of Satan. Just as God's seat & bride is Jerusalem. Pergamos is the bride and seat of Satan (Rev. 2:12-13) (Rev. 18:23).
Joel 2:10 also talks about the earthquake event of the 6th Seal. Even to the point that the sky changes and the stars withdraw as a scroll being rolled up (Rev. 6:13-14) (Ezekiel 38:22).
Joel 2:1 tells us that this is not the return of the Lord yet, but it is near (nigh at hand). This will happen on the 7th Trumpet. (Which occurs on Rev. 15.1) and are the same event as (Rev. 11:15) (Rev. 17:14).
Joel 2:9 talks about them attacking to take a spoil just as Ezekiel 38:12-16 states.
Joel 2:4 even eludes to the 4 horsemen of Revelation as the White Horseman/Gog gathers his 10 Muslin Nations, brings 1/4 of the earth into war, chaos, famine, disease and economic collapse (Rev. 6:1-8); and attacks Israel just to the 6th Seal breaking and destroying Gog and his armies that attack Israel as stated in Ezekiel 38-39).
Joel 2:12-14 tells us that this is a judgement against Israel and His people until they repent and come back to God/Jesus for this judgement to end (Ezekiel 38:16-20) (Rev. 6:15-17).

Joel 3:2 is a vision of Armageddon and happens on the 6th Bowl when God gathers the armies that war against him to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. God then tells us that he places a specific judgement against them, the 6th Bowl (Rev. 16:12-16).
Joel tells us at this time that the nation of Israel has been scattered and have gone into captivity, flee or killed. But, that God will now restore this land which will occur after the cleansing of the 7th Bowl on the whole earth (Joel 3:1-3) (Rev. 16:17-21).
Joel 3:11-12 talks about the nations all gathered together and they will be brought to this Valley for the final battle against our Lord (Rev. 16:12-16).
Joel 3:15-16 is the same as the earthquake event of (Rev. 16:17-21).
God/Jesus also harvests the earth with his sickle (Joel 3:13) (Rev. 14:14-20).
Conclusion:
Joel 2 & 3 are not the same events.
Joel 2 is about the 6th Seal and the attack of Israel by Gog and the destruction of Gog & his 10 Muslim nations.
Joel 3 is about the 6th Bowl and the destruction of Antichrist and Armageddon after the return of our Lord on the 7th Trumpet.
